Guitar hero live pc all songs tv#
The jewel in the game's crown, Guitar Hero TV currently features two different channels, with songs from genres like indie and metal bunched together in different time slots. It's even quite funny when your singer throws you under the bus for messing up the ending to a song. Seeing those huge crowds as you walk out on stage creates a real buzz, and it's hugely satisfying when you nail that intro and they start singing along and holding up signs. If there's one thing you can say about the first-person campaign it's that developer FreeStyleGames has nailed the sense of immersion, from the nervous pre-show pick flicking to the crowd surfing and on stage posturing. This sense of reality carries over to the all-too-brief campaign mode, which takes place over the course of two festivals, as players join different bands and witness the live experience through the eyes of a guitarist.įrom the new guitar controller to the live streaming service, everything about the game feels fresh, akin to discovering your new favourite album from a band you'd never heard of. Solos feel more epic when you're going from black to white and back again, and those power chords better create the illusion that you're playing a real guitar, even though the instrument feels lighter and more toy-like than its Rock Band 4 equivalent.
